Empty Apple Bins and Hay Bales PermitWhat is the Purpose of this Permit?To allow the transport of empty apple bins or hay bales higher than legal height of 14 feet up to 15 feet high.What Activities Require this Permit?The permit allows the hauling of empty apple bins up to 15 feet high. This permit can be used in conjunction with the double trailer permit. These permits are not exempt from restrictions. Oversize signs are required. Each regulatory agency developed a plan to improve permit clarity, predictability, and timeliness. Each agency considers the customers experience to ensure permit assistance is simple to use, easy to access, and designed in a customer-friendly manner. Agencies report progress to the Governor’s Office for Regulatory Innovation and Assistance (ORIA). ORIA prepares and distributes reports, with participation from the State Auditor’s Office and Results Washington.
